Beverly Bensley is congratulated on her five years of service as the extension educator in Pike County by Mike McDavid, Northeast regional director of Penn State Cooperative Extension.

Martha Dubensky is holding her Certificate of Appreciation Award for her years of dedication as a volunteer 4-H Leader. Martha was one of the many 4-H Leaders and Volunteers recognized during the 4-H 100th Anniversary Celebration.


Beverly Bensley is presenting Melissa Batalin with a 2002 4-H Stipend Award. The presentation was made at the Delaware Valley High School Scholarship Presentation Night (6/5/02).

In September, the Pike County Penn State Cooperative Extension celebrated the 100th anniversary of the 4-H, youth and community development program. The celebration included recognition of 4-H Leaders, 4-H Teen Leaders and the Master Gardeners. From the left are volunteers of the Pike County Master Gardener Program, Elaine Haines, Carol Padalino, Carol Linkiewicz, Beverly Bensley , Ed Haines, and Alberta Roziak.
